Privacy is not a feature of Imouto Chat. It is the founding principle of Wells Entertainment Software LLC — the reason this software exists in the form it does, and the standard every decision is measured against.
Your conversations are yours. Every word you type, every memory your companion builds, every moment you share — none of it leaves your machine. It is processed locally by an AI model running on your own hardware, stored in files only you can access, and never transmitted anywhere.
What does connect to the outside world — and why:
Your license key contacts our server once to confirm a legitimate purchase. No personal data is transmitted — only the key itself. This is how we protect the software from piracy while keeping your usage completely private.
Nothing is collected passively. If you choose to submit feedback through the in-app form, only the text you voluntarily write is sent. There is no telemetry, no usage tracking, no crash reporting running in the background.
If you enable mobile access via QR code, Imouto Chat uses Cloudflare's encrypted tunnel service to create a connection between your phone and your PC. This is the only scenario where messages travel outside your local machine — through Cloudflare's servers as an encrypted relay, then directly to your PC. Your companion's memory and data never leave your hardware. If complete local-only operation is your priority, simply don't enable mobile access.
We do not sell data. We do not have advertisers. We do not build profiles. We built this software for people who believe their inner world belongs to them — and we intend to keep it that way.

You are solely responsible for all content you generate, input, or store using Imouto Chat.
AI responses do not reflect the views of Wells Entertainment Software LLC. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
